What do you think about the technology?
Technology has changed notable in the last century. Technology has also changed the way of thinking, and life of people in the entire world. We can say that some of the advances of technology have helped us, but also some others have brought us some problems, even with our own bodies and with the planet too.

Is technology good or bad?
In my opinion technology is increasing day by day with new different things. People have to take technology like a form of living, because it is easier to do many things with it, for example the internet that has helped us to search many things and you don’t have to go to a library every time you need it. But maybe most of persons have not realized what technology is making to our planet. Now at day there are so many things that affect nature, for example all the factories that dump their wastes to the oceans and seas making most of the species die.

Should technology continue advancing?
Yes but balance way because technology advances give us a big support in our daily life. But we have to remember that is not bad to take it in use, always you don’t depend on it. You cannot compare technology with a human mind. You cannot forgive how important is our planet and take care of it.

Imigration policies in Costa Rica

In my opinion immigrant laws in Costa Rica for immigrants are unused. The government needs to create more or at list use the ones that are all ready approved. Migration is something that is increasing and that is a fact. There are different types of stereotypes these variants depend on which country the person comes from.

I think that all of these stereotypes are wrong in the majority we need to lead these stereotypes apart and stop jogging immigrants. But also the government of Costa Rica needs urgently to create more laws to control in an the immigration in Costa Rica in a very efficient way.

Letter for the sello verde of Escats

Dear organizer:

The intension of this letter is to congratulate your excellent work organizing the “sello verde” the Escats Band. It took place on July 20 with a price of 3000. I think that is excellent to support national talents like in this case Escats. I like that you never forget the music in the sellos verdes like last term when you organized a concert of electric sounds that was a great sello verde.
I think that the ticket had a reasonable price considering their hits and how many much time they play. Maybe the only thing I didn’t like was when they sang “She will be loved“because why they play that song when they can play something composed by them. I would prefer if they only play their own material.
In summary instead of “she will be loved “all the other things were perfect the synchronization, the audience, the price and the quality of band. I like how ULACIT support national talent in all kind of arts. So continue organizing like this.

North America traditional dish

Every nation has its own traditional ditches, in this essay I will comment about traditional ditches in United States. I will talk about the most traditional ditch in my opinion. This one is the apple pie. I think this ditch represents very well the culture of United States because we always see it in every North American’s TV show.

This ditch was invented around the 1381. At that time the pies were very different comparing with the ones in the present. The difference is that the first’s ones didn’t have sugar, because in that year’s sugar was very expensive. The apple pies with sugar were created in the 16th century. The apple pie had been prepared with lots of different ingredients throw the years, but it had been evolving in a very delicious way. It also have people whom don’t want these recipes to be discover.

In summary the apple pies had being part of the culture of United States since the early years. This has of consequence the creation of the best traditional dish in United States. The ditch with most history in all times.

Homeschooling

In these paragraphs, I am going to talk about home schooling. Home schooling is when a child receives classes at home. These classes are given by its own parents or by a tutor. Parents decide to do these because their child had a specific problem or just because they think that way they would learn more. Home schooling has advantages as well as disadvantages.

Some disadvantages of home schooling are all the sacrifices, efforts, and time that parents have to give their child while teaching them. This time can affect the family’s environment because parents would not have time for their own and may cause some troubles between them. Also home schooling affects the child because it would be difficult for him to make friends and have some social life. These can affect the child self esteem and it can cause difficulties for making friends in the future.

Homeschooling have some advantages as well, it has a flexible schedule so the child doesn’t have to wake up too early and it can satisfy its needs. Other advantage is the individual attention that the child gets, so this helps him to understand better. Home schooling is a hard choice that parents have to take because it can either benefit a lot their child or not help his or her at all. In my opinion the best education is at a normal school because the child gets the chance to make friends and gain many experiences for the future.

Community Service

Community Service is an important thing to do in life. When we, young people, think about community service we think of hard work with no pay. We don’t realize the importance of it and how it could change or affect someone else’s life. If we start volunteering for our communities it could make a big difference.

Community services bring a lot of benefits besides helping others. It can help improve our creativity and self esteem. We can also learn to be thankful for all the things we have, and help young people stay out of drugs.

For me is like a way to give back the favor of education and maybe at first we think is bored but in some cases we finish learning things for life and feel to do it.

Living longer good or bad?

Longevity has advantages and disadvantages. There are lots of thing to consider in both sides for example if you have dreams you will have more time to make them true and that will be the advantage but the disadvantage will be that maybe you will be bored of not reaching your dream. You will be able to meet almost all your family and be glad to feel that you all ready left a legacy on earth, having the opportunity to know your great grandsons must be very significant.

In other side you will have the opportunity to see technologic advances with the years maybe you’ll like it or maybe you won’t be capable to use it. Living long can be excellent if you keep healthy because living without health if more similar to hell that way you will see everybody doing all and you will be incapable reason of your health. Of course you control your health with your lifestyle, so if you want to get old and in good shape you must do exercise and eat well.

Longevity is good or very good for some persons and bad or awful for others, I think that it depends a lot to your way of see things because if you are positive you’ll see only good stuff but if you are negative you’ll see bad thing.

Animal intelligence

Animals have intelligence and some species learn more easily than others for example the chimps, dolphins, parrots, dogs and even horses. In these moments the media give us stories of all and some of them are extraordinary animals that do amazing things. There are even TV shows of animals where you can see how incredible animals are.

Animals are very intelligent and we have proves of that everywhere but apart from the intelligence, I think that the needs make them become tricky. For example when your pet wants to come inside and you don’t let it ,it starts to cry so you let it come in so your pet will think if I continue crying my owner is going to let me go inside so I will continue crying.
In class we discussed about that what animal was the most intelligent. I think that the dolphin is more intelligent than the chimp. My point of view is that people looks more intelligent to the chimp because it is more similar to the human. So for the chimp is easier to imitate the human but other species demonstrate that they are intelligent in consequence of the needs and not as a result of the imitation.

In summary, animals are very capable to learn things but it is going to be easier to learn if they have the need. Like for all you don’t know what you are capable of until you are forced to do something.

Is it good smoking in public places?

Smoking never brings benefits for our body, it give us more probabilities to get cancer of lips and lungs. But it is legal that means that we decide if we do it or not. Nonsmokers don’t have to make the decision of this and let smokers do what they like. The publicity has an important role, because it induces people to smoke.

The laws make publishers to advertise that it is not healthy and that it gives more chances to get cancer and provoke bad function in respiratory or digestive system another bad thing will be the teeth so it’s their choice.

I agree that in restaurants divide smokers from non smoker because is a close area but in public places I do not agree because in my opinion it doesn’t bother anyone in an open area.

what are obstacles?

What are obstacles?
In my opinion obstacles are what make us stronger. There are all kind of obstacles in live but they are necessary to make us mature. Obstacles are the only way to proof ourselves that we have the capacity to make it. For overcome the obstacles we need something more than wishes, we need something stronger and there is where character enters.

To overcome obstacles we need character because that demonstrate how much you want to overcome the obstacle and if you have character you will be perseverance, patient, and dedicated. If you don’t have character with the obstacles that means that you don’t interest so much or that is not a priority for you, in that case you are not self involved enough to overcome the obstacle.

In summary obstacles separate lazy people from persons with character and is a fact that you need character to succeed in life. Character represents the courage that you need to overcome obstacles. But I think that obstacles also give us the choice to fail or to learn to have character and become a succeed persons. Obstacles era proves and if we overcome them we will learn how much it cost to become succeed and we will appreciate it better.

Rally on Tuesday 24

I did this report about the rally on Tuesday 24. In this rally lots of companies like Master Lex, Kyocera, 3M ESPE, Barniz Clinpro XT, Innova verde and REVA attended. In my opinion all the products shown were excellent because the majority of them the priority was the natural conservation.

It also helps people to organize themselves, for example Master Lex talked about their operation in their cell phone that connect to internet , so in that way you can receive important news and be organized in your economical life. In the green projects there was REVA with a the 100% electric car and innova verde that is recycle oil to make diesel or for produce soaps.

It is excellent that the companies think in new green product. It is a noble cause for nature. This rally really made me think about the future and how responsible we are in it.

Media has a big influence in the society

It is a fact that the media has a big influence in the society. Media is responsible of giving us the information about all that is happening. In my opinion sometimes the media has a bias. This is not good because the society will have less information to decide what side of the news they will support.

Some people think that a lot of news is bad for the health because it gives us stress and bad stereotypes making us live with fear. Sometimes the news become very repetitive and that is very stressful so the solutions in my opinion would be to emphatize more good news and to try to decrease the attention in bad news or trying to give remedies.

I think that we have to do a great investigation in both sides of the new to have material to base of our own perspective. I think that like in all, going to an stream too much is bad, and that also applies for the news.

Introduction

My name is Luis Manuel Medrano Sorto, I’m 18 years old I’m studying Industrial Engineering because I like all the production, innovation things and because is a carreer that has lots of avaible positions. I have a family, we are 4 my mother, my father, my sister and me. We live in Coronado since I remember.


The soccer team of Coronado is Uruguay and I like soccer very much it’s my favorite sport ,of result I start to practice soccer with Uruguay . I always likes soccer but I started to practice at the age of 13 with U.C.R and then I passed to Uruguay when I was like 15 years old because for me it was more comfortable and more near to home.


I consider myself a creative person. I like to eat a lot but I don’t have a favorite dish. My favorite color is blue since always. I like terror and suspense movies but I also like the funny movies. My favorite place is Canada because I consider that it is a very organized country. In this moment I’m trying to go for vacation at the end of this term.


My expectations for this class that is a relax class where I learn in an dynamic way. I also expect to speak more fluid and to get a better pronunciation and of course to passed with good grades. My dream as a professional will be to create my own mark of industrial parts and be successful in my entire life as professional.
